Retaining ring for bore(DIN472A)
DIN472-A type is a kind of hole elastic retaining ring (also called hole circlip), with an applicable hole diameter range usually of Φ8-Φ1000mm. It is mostly made of C67S spring steel or 65Mn spring steel, which needs to be quenched and tempered, with a hardness generally between HRC44-51. The surface of such retaining rings is usually treated with phosphating or blackening to ensure uniform hardness and elasticity, and the surface is flat and burr-free. It is widely used in aviation, automobile manufacturing, mechanical equipment, medical treatment, chemical machinery, railway, power station, construction engineering, electromechanical equipment installation, instruments and meters and other industries, mainly used for installation in the groove of the hole to fix parts and prevent their axial movement.
