Retaining ring for bore(DIN472B)
DIN472-B type is a kind of hole elastic retaining ring, and its applicable hole diameter range is usually Φ8-Φ300mm. However, some manufacturers can provide products with a larger size range, such as Φ8-Φ1000mm.
DIN472-B type hole elastic retaining rings are mostly made of C67S spring steel or 65Mn spring steel. After quenching and tempering, their hardness is generally between HRC44-51, and the surface is usually treated with phosphating or blackening. It is mainly used for installation in round holes to fix parts and prevent their axial movement, and is widely used in aviation, automobile manufacturing, mechanical equipment and other industries. Compared with type A, type B may have differences in dimensional accuracy, structural details, etc., to adapt to installation and use requirements under different working conditions.
