The disc spring also known as the Belleville spring washer, was invented by the French Belleville, and its conical disc shape can be used single, and can be used in series or parallel, bearing static or dynamic loads along the axial action at the upper inner edge and the lower outer edge, being compressed and deformed until it is flattened to store energy as a living load.
